The Focal Alpha EVO 65 studio monitors for Mixing, Mastering, DJ and Broadcast offer a frequency response from 40Hz to 22kHz, are amplified with 55W on the lows and 25W on the highs for a maximum SPL of 104dB and as transducers they are equipped with a Slatefiber woofer 6.5" (16.5cm) and a 1" (2.5cm) aluminum inverted dome tweeter.

In the Alpha EVO amplified studio monitors (EVO stands for Evolution), Focal has renewed the design, introduced new technologies and greater versatility, thanks to a 1/4" TRS jack input, in addition to the XLR and RCA connections, to the cone built with Slatefiber technology produced exclusively by the French company in the Saint-Étienne factory and a 1" inverted dome aluminum tweeter.

To optimize performance, Focal has chosen a 1" inverted dome aluminum tweeter, to ensure excellent and wide diffusion of high frequencies inside the listening position and a particular Slatefiber cone.

This mid-low woofer is produced exclusively by Focal in the Saint-Étienne factory and stands out because it is made of recycled carbon fiber blended with thermoplastic polymer.

The compound gives the cone a particular and pleasant blue-ish colour.

The combination of these two materials translates into highly respectable acoustic performances in terms of transduction speed, rigidity and damping, which provide excellent dynamic performance and a more natural balance on the spectrum.

Focal was the first audio company in the world to use recycled carbon fiber in transducers.

The cabinet of the Focal Alpha EVO 65 amplified studio speakers is made of 15mm thick MDF reinforced by an internal structure that makes them extremely robust, minimizing acoustic susceptibility even at high sound pressure levels.

The bass-reflex uses a large front opening for a laminar air flow aimed at containing turbulence and distortions on the reproduced signal.

This translates into excellent integration into any listening setup, be it at home, in a van or in a treated environment.

The attention that Focal usually pays to design has led to the addition of eye-catching sides made up of plastic panels that blend perfectly with both the concept of acoustic performance and the aesthetic objective.
